• M.I. Series (prototype chapter 2)

M.I. Series works with the interstices of the historical material, where the explicit event is abandoned, and on the other hand, is interested more in the detail, the particularity, the sign, related or not to a fact or specific event. These photographs are witness of certain histories, witness of events, but these events are no longer present. It takes distance of the singular experience and by doing that it became something estrange and foreign. This work doesn’t document nor tell a specific history, is not a nostalgic narration of past events.

Prototype No. 1 is the first draft of this installation; three overhead projectors are distributed in the exhibition space at ground level, these projectors were electronically modified and they are at the same time the containers and the projectors of these images in the space.
